Civil Security for Society Cluster will aim to support the implementation of EU policy priorities relating to security, including cybersecurity, and disaster risk reduction and resilience. In addition, it will build on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 crisis in terms of prevention, mitigation, preparedness and capacity building for crises (including health crises) and in improving cross-sectoral aspects of such crises.
Horizon Europe Programme Civil Security for Society Cluster has six different destinations namely;

- Increased Cybersecurity
- Disaster-Resilient Society for Europe
- Strengthened Security Research and Innovation
The total budget of the cluster is 1,6 Billion Euros. The total budget of the 2021 call is 220.5 million Euros while it is 193 million Euros in 2022.
