Call Description:
European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) of which TÜBİTAK has been the coordinator institution since 1993, supports international collaborative projects of life scientists within the scope of Advanced Collaboration Grants. Advanced Collaboration Grants provide support for group leaders who wish to engage in exchange visits to develop or carry out collaborative projects. Proposals should be constructed jointly with the host laboratories in EMBC Member States, Associate Member States or Cooperation Partners.
The programme contributes towards travel costs and daily subsistence of the recipients. Group leaders are supported for their visits of one week (seven days) up to six months (180 days) with a maximum of three trips paid by EMBO. Researchers in the home laboratory are supported for their visits of one week (seven days) up to three months (90 days) with one trip paid by EMBO. Call Description:
The Clean Hydrogen Partnership launches its hydrogen research call for proposals on 17 January 2024. €113.5 million will be made available for projects to support the development of hydrogen technologies across the whole hydrogen value chain.
The Call addresses key priorities within different areas of research and innovation, with direct and quantified impact towards the achievement of the objectives of the Clean Hydrogen JU.

* The European Commission in its communication “REPowerEU Plan” announced an additional investment of EUR 200 million available for the Clean Hydrogen JU for doubling the Hydrogen Valleys in the EU by 2025. In that respect, for the Call for Proposals 2024, up to 60 MEUR additional budget is available to top-up the allocated budget for hydrogen valleys under the Call for Proposals 2024 (EUR 20 million for HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2024-06-01, EUR 9 million for HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2024-06-02). This means that more than one (Hydrogen Valley) project per topic will be funded, according to the final ranking at the end of the evaluation process.
The topics will be grouped into 8 Innovation Actions (IA), 11 Research and Innovation Actions (RIA) and 1 Coordination and Support Action (CSA).
An important novelty in the Call for Proposals 2024 is that it will be implemented using lump sum grants.
Synergies with other European partnerships and programmes, as well as with Member States and regional programmes are at the core of a number of topics.
