Civil Security for Society Cluster will aim to support the implementation of EU policy priorities relating to security, including cybersecurity, and disaster risk reduction and resilience. In addition, it will build on lessons learnt from the COVID-19 crisis in terms of prevention, mitigation, preparedness and capacity building for crises (including health crises) and in improving cross-sectoral aspects of such crises.

Horizon Europe Programme Civil Security for Society Cluster has six different destinations namely;

  • Protected Infrastructure
  • Increased Cybersecurity
  • Disaster-Resilient Society for Europe
  • Strengthened Security Research and Innovation

The overall budget for the Cluster 3 amounts to 1.6 billion Euros, while the funding allocated for the 2024 call to be opened in June totals 193.6 million Euros.
