Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment Area (Cluster 6) is under the Global Challanges and European Industrial Competitiveness component of the Horizon Europe Programme. The aim of the cluster is; ensuring the sustainability of food, preventing environmental degradation, preserving biodiversity, water security, and realizing an economy that manages better natural resources. Within the scope of the field, it is planned to support projects on biodiversity, environmentally-friendly food production systems and food chain, circular and bio-economy, clean environment and waste prevention, strengthening rural, urban and coastal communities, environmental monitoring technologies and the European Union Green Deal. Within the scope of the field, calls will be opened in line with 7 destinations below:

  • Destination 1: Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services
  • Destination 2: Fair, Healthy and Environmentally-Friendly Food Systems from Primary Production to Consumption
  • Destination 3: Circular Economy and Bioeconomy Sectors
  • Destination 4: Clean Environment and Zero Pollution
  • Destination 5: Land, Oceans and Water for Climate Action
  • Destination 6: Resilient, Inclusive, Healthy and Green Rural, Coastal and Urban Communities
  • Destination 7: Innovative governance, environmental observations and digital solutions in support of the Green Deal

Available budget for 2023-2024 Calls is 902 million Euro.
