17th Middle East International Invention Fair to Be Held in Kuwait
  13 August 2026

The 17th Middle East International Invention Fair (IIFME) will be held in Kuwait from 31 January to 3 February 2027. Organized by the Kuwait Science Club since 2007, the fair brings together inventors, researchers, universities, and representatives from the public and private sectors from around the world.

As one of the major international invention fairs in the Middle East, IIFME provides an opportunity for new ideas and inventions to gain international visibility and connect with investors and industry representatives. The fair also aims to promote research and development and innovation, particularly by supporting scientific production in the Arab world.

The fair will showcase innovative inventions across a wide range of fields, including machinery and industrial technologies, artificial intelligence and software, renewable energy, healthcare technologies, agriculture, and environment and sustainability. Universities, research institutions, public and private sector organizations, patent offices, investors, manufacturers, and young inventors will be able to participate in the event.

The inventions presented at the fair will be evaluated by an international jury. Gold, silver, and bronze medals, as well as cash prizes, will be awarded to the winners. Special awards will also be presented by organizations including IFIA, WIPO, UNESCO, and the GCC Patent Office.

Participants wishing to exhibit their inventions are required to hold a patent or have at least filed a patent application for the invention. The invention must also not have been previously exhibited at IIFME.

Those interested in participating in the fair can submit their applications via registration@iifme.com. IIFME will bring together innovative ideas and inventions from around the world in Kuwait from 31 January to 3 February 2027.
