A workshop titled “Flexibility Solutions for Resilient Carbon-Free Energy Systems”, organised under the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) by Transition Initiative 1 (TRI 1), will take place online on 19 May 2026.
The workshop, scheduled between 10:00–13:00 (CEST), will focus on innovative solutions to enhance the flexibility and resilience of future carbon-free energy systems. Topics to be discussed include smart grids, energy storage systems, flexible load management, power system stability under reduced inertia conditions, and the cyber-physical resilience of energy infrastructures.
The event will also provide an opportunity for CETPartnership-funded projects to present their latest activities and results. Through keynote speeches and discussion sessions with leading experts, the workshop aims to explore current research and innovation needs supporting the transition towards climate-neutral energy systems by 2050.
The outcomes of the workshop are expected to contribute to the further development of CETPartnership and help shape future Joint Calls and initiatives in the field of clean energy transition.
