Chips Joint Undertaking Call 2024 National Info Day was held online on January 24, 2024 with the participation of 213 participants and conducted by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.
Under the auspices of the President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan MANDAL, with the valuable participation of Chips Joint Undertaking Executive Director Prof. Dr. Jari KINARET, Chips Joint Undertaking Call 2024 National Info Day got underway with the commencement speeches of two aforementioned prominent guests. Following the welcome remarks, Chips Joint Undertaking Head of Programmes Yves GIGASE who is one of the other distinguished panelists of the event gave general information on Chips Joint Undertaking Call 2024. The afternoon session kickstarted with the presentation of Dr. Özlem GEZİCİ KOÇ on Chips JU Coordination in Türkiye. The event carried on with the presentation of Tayyip KÖSOĞLU from TÜBİTAK on TÜBİTAK 1071 Program, which is the national funding program.
Our event came to an end with the best practice presentations which represent a public research institution, a big company, and an SME/University made by Olcay ÖZTANIR from TÜBİTAK BİLGEM, Deniz ŞEKERCİ from Arçelik and Prof. Dr. Müjdat SOYTÜRK from BigTRI Bilişim and Marmara University. They shared their experiences on the projects they took part in, as well as how to take part in the calls opened within the scope of this partnership / what to pay attention to when carrying out a project.
