A series of awards in the field of "Science and Technology" are presented every two years under the framework of the Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). These awards, intended for scientists who are citizens of OIC member states and working in these countries, will be granted in the following categories for the year 2025:
- Lifetime Contribution Awards in the Fields of Biology and Chemistry
- COMSTECH 2025 Awards for Excellence in Science and Technology
- COMSTECH Award for Excellence in Science Communication
The awards are open to scientists nominated by scientific academies, national research councils, universities, research institutions, and prominent international scientists.
