With the participation of COST Association Officials, an online National Info Day for COST Program (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) will be organized. The participants will have the opportunity to further learn about the new structure of the COST Organization and the updated rules and procedures to benefit from COST funds. Also, comprehensive information will be given about Turkish COST statistics and participation rules. Finally, at the event, information will be given about the Horizon Europe Program and practices and activities of TÜBİTAK regarding participation in the EUFP.
The Info Day will be online and connection link will be shared with registered participants before the event week. Interested researchers are kindly requested to fill out the event registration until January 10, 2024.

WHAT IS COST?
COST is the longest-running European framework supporting trans-national cooperation among researchers, engineers and scholars across Europe. It is a unique means for researchers to jointly develop their own ideas and new initiatives across all fields in science and technology, including social sciences and humanities, through pan-European networking of nationally funded research activities. Based on a European intergovernmental framework for cooperation in science and technology, COST has been contributing - since its creation in 1971 - to closing the gap between science, policymakers and society throughout Europe and beyond. As a precursor of advanced multidisciplinary research, COST plays a very important role in building a European Research Area (ERA).
All scientists working in the private sector, public institutions and universities can benefit from COST. Within the scope of COST Actions, financial support is provided for Management Committee (MC) and Working Group (WG) meetings, workshops, scientific conferences, meetings, scientific courses, short-term scientific visits and publications.
