The "Hands-on Training Workshop on Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS)" for D-8 Member States is now open for applications. The workshop will be held from 08 to 12 June 2026 in Pakistan, hosted by the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and PCSIR Laboratories, Lahore.
The workshop is intended for scientists, early-career researchers, professionals, and faculty members from D-8 Member States, including Türkiye. The programme will provide practical training on long-read and real-time sequencing technologies using Oxford Nanopore Technologies. Topics to be covered include whole-genome sequencing, epigenomics, transcriptomics, DNA barcoding, and a comparison of Sanger sequencing and NGS methodologies.
Researchers from Türkiye are encouraged to review the attached workshop announcement and submit their applications in accordance with the provided instructions.
