The stakeholder event on " Making research results work for society" will be organized as a hybrid by the European Commission Directorate-General for Research and Innovation in Brussels on 26 October 2023.
What to expect?
- Exchange ideas, practices and practical insights on success factors and challenges regarding knowledge valorization,
- Awareness of the evaluation of information organized by the Commission jointly with the Member States will be increased,
- Participants will get to know more about the opportunities offered by a comprehensive intellectual assets management strategy that goes beyond protection of intellectual property,
- The event will provide key insights on successful knowledge valorisation through standardisation for faster market uptake, enhancing collaboration and networking and open innovation models to improve circular economy.
In addition, it is mentioned that two new codes of practice are being prepared on industry-academia co-creation and citizen engagement. All interested stakeholders are invited to contribute and fill in the surveys on the draft codes of practice until 20 October 2023.
The event is not within the scope of TUBITAK Travel Support, but all researchers, especially in the cluster of Climate, Energy and Mobility, are invited.
