EIC Accelerator Online Events Successfully Completed

A webinar and a project writing training event were held for SMEs respectively on 7 and 10 March by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project, which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.

Within the two-day events, which took place with the participation of 129 people on March 7 and 164 on March 10, the participants were informed about the Horizon Europe and especially the opportunities particular to the EIC Accelerator Programme. In addition, information was given about the three main topics, IDEATION, GO2MARKET and DEVELOPMENT, which are required during the application process to the EIC Accelerator Programme. Presentations of international experts took place at the event and the questions of the participants were answered interactively.
 

About the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Programme

The EIC Accelerator Programme, which supports SMEs that directly meet market needs and develop innovative ideas, is of critical importance within the European Union's Horizon Europe Programme. The “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II” Technical Assistance Project aims to involve Turkish businesses in this programme. This support includes training, proposal writing, intellectual property and legal processes, brokerage events, webinars and online tools. SMEs in Turkey will be able to develop successful projects in the light of the EIC Accelerator Programme through webinars and project writing training events.
