The European Rare Diseases Research Alliance (ERDERA) is delighted to announce the official launch of its 2025 Joint Transnational Call (JTC) for Proposals as of 10 December 2024. This eagerly anticipated call invites research teams across Europe and internationally to collaborate on cutting-edge projects aimed at “Pre-clinical therapy studies for rare diseases using small molecules and biologicals – development and validation.”
Project proposals to be submitted within the scope of the ERDERA 2025 Call are expected to include at least two of the research field titles listed below.
Development of novel therapies in a pre-clinical setting
Creation and validation of predictive and pharmacodynamic biomarkers
Replication of pre-clinical findings to enhance reliability
Pre-clinical proof-of-concept studies for therapy readiness

ERDERA 2025 Call, which will support project proposals submitted by multi-partner international consortia, will follow a two-stage application process and funding decisions are expected to be taken by December 2025:
13 February 2025: The applicaiton deadline for the pre-proposal submission
9 July 2025: The applicaiton deadline for the full proposal submission
