The results of the second staged call of the Pathways2Resilience (P2R) project, implemented under the European Union Mission on Adaptation to Climate Change and opened for applications on 15 May 2025, have been announced.
The project aims to strengthen the climate adaptation capacities of local and regional authorities and to support them in developing robust climate resilience strategies and investment plans.
Within the framework of the second staged call, support was initially envisaged for a defined number of regions and/or communities to enhance resilience to climate change. Following the evaluation process, 62 regions and/or communities have been selected to receive funding.
Among the project proposals submitted between 15 May and 20 August 2025, the selected projects will each receive EUR 210,000 in grant funding, with an implementation period of 18 months. Three of the supported projects include stakeholders from Türkiye, namely:
- Çukurova Region (lead entity: Adana Chamber of Industry)
- Üsküdar Municipality
- Van Subregion (lead entity: Eastern Anatolia Development Agency)
