
FutureFoodS has officially announced the results of its first transnational co-funded call for proposals titled “Transforming Food Systems: Reshaping Food System Interactions, Fostering Food Innovations, and Empowering Sustainable Food Choices.” This joint initiative, involving 36 funding organisations from 19 countries and the European Commission, received 275 pre-proposals and selected 23 projects to proceed to national or regional funding negotiations, representing a combined investment of approximately €32 million towards sustainable food system research and innovation.
Selected projects aim to address systemic transformation challenges in European food systems, including resilience, innovation in food products and processes, and consumer behaviour change.
