The event was an introductory event targeting potential participants in the Horizon Europe framework programme with little or no experience, as well as more experienced researchers that would like to learn about the new Horizon Europe Structure and the Strategic Plan for 2021-24. The event focused on the 2021-2022 Health topics under the new Cluster 1 section of the Pillar II area: Global Challenges and European Industrial Competitiveness and further initiatives in health such as Innovative Health Initiative (IHI) and Cancer Mission.
The event presented the Horizon Europe Structure & Strategic Plan for 2021-2024 covering EU priorities and Work Programme destinations and outlining the Key Strategic Orientations, expected impacts & corresponding Work Programme destinations. It also covered Horizon Europe Call & Proposal Documents including the new Proposal Template.
The sessions were structured in a way that will help participants grasp the fundamental concepts of the Horizon Europe Programme Strategic Plan related to Health. The content was enriched with presentations, training notes, curated literature from the EU, and useful templates.
