
We have the honour to invite you to our General & Introductory Training (Webinar) organised by TÜBİTAK under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 (& Horizon Europe) Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.
The event is an introductory event targeting potential participants in Horizon Europe Framework Programme that would like to learn about the new and very important Horizon Europe Cross-Cutting Issues. The event focuses on the Ethics and Integrity aspect of Research and Innovation (one of the 8 cross-cutting issues of Horizon Europe) and will cover the following aspects:
- An introduction to Cross-Cutting Issues in HE
- Ethics in Science and Technology
- Considering Ethics in Future and Emerging technologies in real life
- Handling Ethics in Horizon Europe Proposals
The main speaker of the event is Prof. Vincent Muller, Professor in Ethics of Technology of the Technical University of Eindhoven (TU/e), Senior Research Fellow of the University of Leeds and Turing Fellow. Prof. Vincent Muller was recently awarded an Alexander von Humboldt Professorship (including a 3.5m € grant) to support his work on the philosophy of artificial intelligence.
