Hackathon4Future supports teams and idea-holders to solve the most pressing challenges of our time in the fields of urban mobility, health and manufacturing. 

The aim will be to guide the participants through the theoretical background under the supervision of experts, to introduce them to the challenge and problem being addressed and to give them space to brainstorm solutions. Mentoring will be provided during the event on formulation of project presentation and presentation skills to support their pitch preparation. 

The best teams will be selected for a full-fledged business mentoring program starting in fall 2023 to support them to design and launch their start-up. The target audience of the Hackathon event are early stage innovators. You can apply to the event as a team, or individually. Individual applicants will be matched with suitable teams before the event.

Target group

University students, start-ups teams in the manufacturing, health and mobility industries.

About HEI4Future project

The EIT's HEI Initiative helps higher education institutions (HEIs) build the capacity to teach innovation and entrepreneurship. HEI4Future project develops programmes that address in a new, innovative and multi-disciplinary way, the needs of higher education in: advanced mobility, health and manufacturing. The goal of the project is to reinforce teaching in the field of emerging skills to tackle the following challenges:

1) achieving sustainable development,

2) tackling the problem of climate change, and

3) solving COVID impact in production models, social habits and concern for well-being and health.
