The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK), building on more than a decade of experience in successfully organising international brokerage events across both physical and online formats, is organising the “Horizon Europe Clean Industrial Deal International Brokerage Event”, with the support of the EU-funded Technical Assistance for Türkiye in Horizon Europe Project, to be held online on 4 June 2026.
Europe’s industrial future is now entering a new phase. With the Clean Industrial Deal, decarbonisation is increasingly being approached not only as a climate objective, but also as a question of industrial strength, technological capability, economic resilience, and strategic cooperation. In this context, the event is expected to bring together a broad international community from across Horizon Europe participating countries, including stakeholders from industry, research, innovation, and public sectors. Research and technology organisations, universities, SMEs, clusters, public authorities, investors, and clean technology actors will come together around the shared objective of shaping Europe’s next generation of industrial transformation and collaborative innovation.
The brokerage event aims to support the development of international project partnerships under Horizon Europe, with a particular focus on the forthcoming Clean Industrial Deal 2026 (CID 2026) and Circular Bio-based Europe 2026 (CBE 2026) calls.
Designed as a focused collaboration platform, the programme will include thematic presentations, pitching sessions, and bilateral matchmaking meetings to facilitate consortium building and project development activities among participants from across the Horizon Europe ecosystem.
The event will address a wide range of thematic priorities linked to Europe’s industrial transformation and clean transition agenda, including:
- Decarbonisation of energy-intensive industries
- Clean technologies for climate action
- Energy efficiency in industrial processes
- Advanced manufacturing technologies and innovative materials
- Sustainable use of raw materials
- Bio-based solutions and biomass valorisation
- Heat transformation solutions supporting industrial decarbonisation
Participants will have the opportunity to present project ideas, identify complementary expertise, establish new international connections, and explore potential collaboration opportunities for future Horizon Europe proposals.
The event reflects the growing importance of cross-border cooperation, industrial innovation, and strategic partnership development in supporting Europe’s transition towards a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive industrial landscape.
