
The evaluation results of the 2026 third call (HORIZON-CL5-2026-03) under Horizon Europe Cluster 5 – Climate, Energy and Mobility have been officially announced.
The call focused on strengthening renewable energy value chains, advancing innovative and circular photovoltaic technologies, and developing resilient electricity grids capable of supporting Europe's clean energy transition. Following a highly competitive evaluation process, 27 projects were selected for funding from a total of 198 project proposals involving 2,535 participating organisations.
Türkiye achieved a successful outcome in this call. Six projects involving 19 Turkish organisations, including two projects coordinated by Turkish institutions, have been selected for funding, securing a total European Commission contribution of approximately €8.18 million.
Türkiye also performed well in terms of success rates. The participant-based success rate reached 27.54%, compared to the overall average of 14.08%, while the EU contribution-based success rate reached 37.98%, significantly above the overall average of 16.38%.
