The European Commission will organise the Horizon Europe Cluster 5 Info Day on 19 November 2026, providing information on the 2027 call topics under the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2026–2027, with an estimated budget of €873 million.

The event will focus on research and innovation funding opportunities in the areas of Climate, Energy and Mobility and will be held in a hybrid format. The onsite event will take place at the Charlemagne conference facility in Brussels, while online participation will be available through the European Commission’s web platform.

The programme will cover the following key areas:

  • Policy context: Information on the policy priorities and context relevant to Cluster 5;
  • Key-to-success session: Practical guidance and recommendations for preparing high-quality project proposals;
  • Work Programme 2027 topic presentations: Detailed presentations of the topics included in the 2027 Work Programme through interactive parallel sessions organised by thematic area.

The parallel sessions will be designed to encourage active participation through shorter presentations and extended discussion opportunities. Participants attending onsite will have the opportunity to address their questions directly to speakers or through the interactive Slido Q&A system, which will also be available to online participants. Questions may also be submitted in advance once the relevant link becomes available.

Programme: To be announced.

Registration: Registration for the Info Day is expected to open in early September 2026.

Following the Info Day, an onsite brokerage event will be held at the same venue from 16:00 to 19:00.

The event will be organised by the GREENET project, the network of National Contact Points (NCPs) for Horizon Europe Cluster 5. It will provide prospective project partners with opportunities to establish contacts and explore potential collaboration for upcoming calls.

Participants seeking project partners will have the opportunity to:

  • present their organisations and project ideas during a plenary pitching session; and
  • participate in bilateral meetings organised according to the relevant topics.

Important: Participation in the brokerage event will be limited to participants who have registered for and been accepted to attend the Info Day onsite. Further information on the brokerage event will be provided in due course.
