The Horizon Europe Programme, which is the main financial support tool of the European Union (EU) in the field of research and innovation, is the most ambitious civil R&D and innovation programme in the world with a budget of 95.5 billion Euros. The aim of the Programme, which will be implemented between the years 2021 and 2027, is to increase the global competitiveness of the EU by providing support in the fields of research, development and technology, especially innovation activities that have the potential to create a market.
The first calls for proposals for the Horizon Europe Programme in the 2021-2027 period are expected to open in the coming weeks. Within the scope of these calls, technology development activities at all stages from basic research projects to market opening and commercialization will be supported. In this context, researchers, academics, non-governmental organizations, early-stage technology-based initiatives, public institutions, SMEs and companies will be able to apply to the programme calls.
On this occasion, a series of information days will be organised where the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Ambassador Faruk Kaymakcı, the President of TÜBİTAK Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal, and senior representatives of relevant ministries and public institutions will take part as opening speakers. These information days will be held for the following Horizon Europe clusters: "Food, Bioeconomics and Environment", "Health", "Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Societies" and "Green and Digital Transformation".
On the 4th May, 2021, the Horizon Europe Digital, Industry and Space (Cluster 4)" and "Climate, Energy and Mobility (Cluster 5)" information day event will take place.
