mERCury Project:Towards an ERC Consolidator Grant: from promising idea to competitive proposal
As part of the mERCury Project, in which TÜBİTAK is a project partner, an online event titled “Towards an ERC Consolidator Grant: From Promising Idea to Competitive Proposal” will be held, focusing on the ERC Consolidator Grant programme.
The event will address how to develop an original and ambitious research idea into a competitive ERC proposal, as well as the ERC application and evaluation processes and the key elements of a successful proposal.
With contributions from ERC grantees, ERC panel members and a representative of the European Research Council Executive Agency (ERCEA), the event will provide insights and practical advice on topics including the ground-breaking nature of the research idea, balancing scientific ambition and risk, and presenting the applicant’s track record and scientific independence in the proposal.
Researchers planning to apply to the 2027 and 2028 ERC Consolidator Grant calls, as well as project support staff at universities and research institutions, are invited to participate in the event.
