The Information Multipliers System (IMS), heir to Türkiye’s Horizon 2020 TA legacy, has for over a decade sustained the Turkish Research Area (TARAL) as a meso-level transmitter of knowledge. Now, with a new dawn on the horizon, we are launching the next chapter: the IMS Club.
The IMS Club will operate under the “Türkiye in Horizon Europe” Technical Assistance project and will be activated in coordination with the project, while aiming to remain sustainable beyond its initial launch.
The Club builds on a decade of earned credibility. This is your opportunity to step into this network of leading professionals’ representing municipalities, associations, academics, EENs, chambers of industry and commerce and NGOs. The IMS Club is designed to accommodate such leader institutions for a national network of recognised professionals of the Horizon Europe Programme and other instruments for forming synergies.
Building on the strong 10 years of previous phases, the IMS Club is expanding the role of its members from dissemination channels to active agents of collaboration, opportunity creation, and strategic positioning in European Union Framework Programmes.
IMS Club members will:
Transfer capacity-building practices to their ecosystem with advanced, targeted trainings on Horizon Europe regulations, proposal design, and project implementation.
Take the liberty to organise and attend thematic Horizon Europe trainings, international brokerage events, general trainings, focus groups, and project writing camps, as well as stakeholder dialogues that spark tangible collaborations with or without the project team.
Strengthen connections through convening regional and national actors more often.
Specialise in priority domains, becoming trusted reference points for the Turkish Research Area in specific Horizon Europe clusters and missions.
Build an identity and network, supporting belonging, visibility, and the long-term sustainability of the IMS community.
Ignite synergies with other EU and national funding instruments.
The new IM System is rejuvenated with fresh streams of proactivity. We aim to raise new dedicated and certified project management professionals who will attend training events to acquire the A-Z of Horizon Europe and turn this know-how into action to support their ecosystems.
With previous IMS memberships now expired, the IMS Club is open for applications from both newcomers and former IMS members of TARAL.
The main criteria of the IM selection are to have regional/sectoral coverage as wide as possible. Within this context:
Municipalities;
Associations;
Universities, TTOs and Technoparks;
Chambers of Industry and Commerce;
Development Agencies;
EENs;
and related NGOs can be the potential candidates.
