Information, Pitching and Matchmaking for MSCA Staff Exchanges Proposals

On 23 February, we are pleased to bring together universities, research organisations, companies, and innovation actors for an international MSCA Staff Exchanges Brokerage Event, hosted by TÜBİTAK MSCA National Contact Points via B2Match, within the framework of the Türkiye in Horizon Europe Technical Assistance Project and in cooperation with the RADIANCE (Research Advisors in Action - NCPs Cooperation for Excellence) Project.

The event brings together information provision, strategic orientation, and partner engagement around the MSCA Staff Exchanges (SE) 2026 call. It will open with welcome and introductory remarks delivered by the TÜBİTAK MSCA National Contact Points, followed by a dedicated session led by the European Research Executive Agency (REA) presenting the overall framework and latest developments of the MSCA Staff Exchanges 2026 Call. The programme will then continue with a practice-oriented session titled “How to Successfully Prepare MSCA Staff Exchanges Proposals?”, delivered by the Spain MSCA National Contact Point, Mr. Jesus ROJO, followed by a presentation of a funded MSCA SE success story. After an interactive Q&A session, TÜBİTAK MSCA National Contact Points will provide a brief overview of the networking and matchmaking set-up of the event. In the afternoon, selected organisations will take part in short pitching sessions, designed to prepare participants for the networking and matchmaking meetings to be conducted via B2Match, thereby supporting partner identification and early-stage consortium building around shared research and innovation agendas.

Within the policy architecture of Horizon Europe, mobility occupies a signature role as a mechanism for strengthening the European Research Area (ERA). The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, implemented under the Excellent Science pillar, are designed to reinforce Europe’s human capital base, enhance cross-border collaboration, and support the circulation of knowledge across institutional and sectoral boundaries. Staff Exchanges operationalise these objectives through short-term secondments that connect academic and non-academic organisations across countries.

At programme level, MSCA Staff Exchanges have demonstrated significant scale and reach. The 2025 call attracted 363 proposals, involving 2 757 organisations from 134 countries, with approximately 17 % participation from non-academic actors, including private companies and SMEs. The indicative budget of nearly €100 million reflects sustained demand and policy confidence in the instrument’s capacity to reinforce intersectoral collaboration and institutional learning. Since the start of Horizon Europe, MSCA Staff Exchanges have supported thousands of secondments, contributing to long-term partnerships between universities, research organisations, and industry.

Whether you are seeking to identify suitable partners, position your organisation within an MSCA consortium, or explore intersectoral and international collaboration opportunities, this brokerage event provides a dedicated space to engage with potential partners through pitching sessions and structured one-to-one meetings.

Join us to connect with like-minded organisations, exchange project ideas, and take early steps towards building competitive MSCA Staff Exchanges proposals in a highly interactive and practice-oriented setting.

Register via B2Match to secure your participation and start shaping future collaborations.
