Join the ECHO Webinar on European Funding Opportunities for Energy Communities: Horizon Europe Cluster 5 and CETPartnership
As part of the Horizon Europe-funded ECHO – Energy Communities excellence Hubs: catalyzing energy innOvation ecosystems project, The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) invites researchers, public authorities, industry representatives and other interested stakeholders to join the online webinar "European Funding Opportunities for Energy Communities: Horizon Europe Cluster 5 and CETPartnership" which will take place on 23 July 2026 (Thursday), from 10:00 to 12:30 (CET).
The webinar aims to strengthen the capacities of stakeholders interested in energy communities and the clean energy transition by providing an overview of European funding opportunities, with a particular focus on Horizon Europe Cluster 5: Climate, Energy and Mobility and the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership), as well as practical guidance on developing successful project proposals.
Funded under the Horizon Europe Programme, ECHO supports the establishment of regional Excellence Hubs in Türkiye, Greece and Portugal to accelerate the development of energy communities and innovative energy services. Through collaboration among academia, public authorities, industry and civil society, the project fosters regional innovation ecosystems, promotes stakeholder engagement and contributes to a fair, inclusive and citizen-centred energy transition.
During the webinar, participants will:
- Learn about the objectives and opportunities offered by the ECHO project;
- Gain insights into the Clean Energy Transition Partnership (CETPartnership) and its funding opportunities;
- Receive an overview of the most relevant Horizon Europe Cluster 5 open calls related to Energy Communities, including the 2026 calls and a preview of upcoming 2027 opportunities;
- Discover practical recommendations for developing competitive Horizon Europe proposals through lessons learned from ongoing European projects.
The webinar will feature invited speakers from the ECHO Project, the CETPartnership, and the DE-RISK Project, together with Horizon Europe Cluster 5 National Contact Points from TÜBİTAK.
