The Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) is an EU Institutionalized Partnership established to address critical challenges in the Mediterranean region, such as water scarcity and food security.
In preparation for future activities beyond 2027, the FUTURE4PRIMA project, supported under the Horizon Europe Program, aims to co-design and implement research and innovation initiatives within a renewed partnership under the upcoming Framework Program (FP10). FUTURE4PRIMA is an initiative designed to strengthen collaboration among national funding organizations in the Mediterranean region to support sustainable agri-food systems and water management. Building on the PRIMA Partnership, this initiative also seeks to address regional challenges by focusing on areas such as ecosystems, energy, and health.
As part of the FUTURE4PRIMA project, a survey has been prepared to gather input from stakeholders involved in the PRIMA initiative (funders, private and public beneficiaries, experts) to review and analyze Research and Innovation policies and practices in participating countries. The feedback will be used to identify best practices, highlight potential gaps and areas for improvement, and contribute to optimizing the policies and practices that will guide the future extension of PRIMA.
