The fourth edition of the King Salman Global Award for Disability Research is being organized by the King Salman Center for Disability Research.
The award aims to support scientific research, strengthen international cooperation in disability research, and encourage universities and research centers to undertake concrete studies that contribute to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and their families.
The award will be granted in the following five categories:
Medicine and Health
Education and Psychology
Rehabilitation and Social Sciences
Adoption of Technology in Disability
Accessibility
The winners will be announced in December 2026. In addition to a medal, each winner will receive a monetary award of USD 133,000.
