
From Lab to Market: Technology Transfer & Knowledge Valorisation in Horizon Europe Proposal Development Workshop -Physical Event
TÜBİTAK is pleased to invite you to the "From Lab to Market: Technology Transfer & Knowledge Valorisation in Horizon Europe" Interactive Proposal Development Workshop, taking place in İstanbul on 22 July 2026 under the Technical Assistance for Türkiye in Horizon Europe Project.
As Horizon Europe increasingly emphasises the valorisation and commercialisation of research results, this training will focus on the opportunities offered under the 2026–2027 Work Programme, helping participants better understand how to transform research outcomes into competitive, market-oriented project proposals.
The programme will cover the Knowledge Valorisation policy framework, the expectations of evaluators, consortium building, intellectual property strategies, business models, routes to market, and proposal development for the following Horizon Europe calls:
From lab to market: Strengthening the role of Technology Transfer Offices in bringing knowledge to the market [HE-EIE-2026-03-CONNECT-01]
- ‘Proof of market’ to improve valorisation and commercialisation of Horizon generated R&I results (IA) [HE-CL4-2027-01-MAT-PROD-49]
- Unlocking the potential of academic intellectual assets for industry, SMEs and startups (CSA) [HE-CL4-2027-01-MAT-PROD-42]
- Valorising Horizon project results via innovation ecosystems (RIA) [HE-BRIDGING-2027-02-02]
- Advancing promising results from Pillar II collaborative research through the innovation journey (IA) [HE-BRIDGING-2027-02-05]
- Startup Europe [HORIZON-EIE-2027-01-CONNECT-01]
The training will be delivered by an experienced Horizon Europe expert, in coordination with TÜBİTAK's National Contact Points (NCPs). It is designed for Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs), universities, research organisations, IP managers, researchers, SMEs, spin-offs and startups interested in strengthening their capacity to develop competitive Knowledge Valorisation proposals under Horizon Europe.

Please note: As the training will include interactive discussions and practical exercises, participants are kindly encouraged to follow the agenda and any pre-event information that will be shared by email.
The training is free of charge and will be held onsite in İstanbul. Participants are expected to arrange and cover their own travel, accommodation and any other logistical expenses related to their participation.
