The upcoming Horizon Europe NATURE Call offers EU funding opportunities in areas such as biodiversity and environmental protection. To help you prepare your application, two key European events are taking place in October: the official Info Day of the European Commission on 16 October, followed by the CARE4BIO online Brokerage Event on 19 October.
At the EU Info Day on 16 October, you will receive information on the content, objectives, and formal requirements of the upcoming calls. Starting 19 October, the Online Brokerage Event will give you the opportunity to connect directly with European and international project partners. The digital platform allows you to hold bilateral one-on-one meetings with interested parties, exchange project ideas, and specifically fill any gaps in expertise within your consortium.
The matchmaking event covers the broad, interdisciplinary spectrum of topics addressed by the NATURE Call:
Impacts of persistent chemicals on biodiversity and ecosystem services
Systemic approaches to accelerate transformative change for biodiversity
Contribution of clean industries and industrial transformation to biodiversity protection
Causes of and countermeasures against the decline of invertebrates
Living Labs for ecosystem restoration
Innovative solutions against illegal and unsustainable wildlife trade
Cost-efficient biodiversity monitoring
Biodiversity and human health within the One Health approach
Ocean observation to strengthen biodiversity, climate resilience, and strategic autonomy
The event is aimed at stakeholders from research, industry, and society who wish to participate in Horizon Europe.
