The main goals of the PartArt4OW project are to strengthen the emotional connection between society, the ocean and the waters; raise awareness of the environmental challenges affecting the oceans and waters across Europe and develop a robust transdisciplinary network to support the protection and restoration of Europe’s ocean and inland waters.
PartArt4OW is looking for interdisciplinary and intersectoral projects mixing art, science and participatory practices in innovative ways; actively engage citizens and move beyond awareness-raising by combining science-based research with innovative, often understudied artistic practices to co-create new ways of understanding and tackling pollution.
Proposals can focus on any type of pollution, such as solid waste, chemical pollution, nutrient pollution, micro- and nanopollutants, biological pollution, noise, light, thermal, or pathogen pollution.
Applicants should submit their proposals by 2nd October 2025 at 17:00 CET.
