P4Planet’s Strategy and foresight conference intends to focus the discussion on:
Challenges in a new geoeconomic context which points to a change of global paradigm
Opportunities for the European Process Industry to strengthen their resilience and global competitiveness
Solutions through R&I that will accelerate resilience and strengthen the EII sectors during and after the turmoil of tariffs, resources challenges and future challenges.
The forum intends to acknowledge and gain insights on the situation the industries from our 10 sectors are facing in the current geoeconomic context: strong global competitiveness challenges, sound investments barriers and risks to European industrial plants and jobs .
The purpose is to refocus on the sectoral and cross-sectoral R&I pathways for our industries to overcome the obstacles created by the current turmoil and be prepared for strong growth thereafter. What support do our industries need to accelerate and de-risk their innovation in the current context? Do the tools defined by the European Commission and the nations in the Clean Industrial Deal and the MFF 2028-34 fit for purpose? What is missing?
All the feedback from the forum will be taken into account for the development of the Vision document for our new Partnership (2028-34) led by the process industry.
