
Raw Materials Week 2025, organised by the European Commission, will take place from 17–21 November 2025 in Brussels, Belgium, bringing together all stakeholders of the raw materials ecosystem. Held under the theme “Choose Europe”, the event will feature high-level sessions, policy discussions focused on the sustainable and secure supply of raw materials in Europe.
Since 2016, the Raw Materials Week has been the largest policy event on raw materials, attracting over 1,000 participants from industry, administration, civil society, research, and academia. The core programme, taking place on 18-20 November 2025, will include high-level sessions and policy debates dedicated to ensuring a sustainable and secure raw materials supply in Europe.
The 2025 edition will focus on:
Progress in implementing the Critical Raw Materials Act,
Advancing strategic projects and streamlining permitting,
Mobilising sustainable investment,
Building robust and diversified strategic supply chains,
Boosting domestic production and promoting circularity,
Strengthening international partnerships.
These points will shape the discussions on policies aimed at enhancing Europe’s competitiveness and building a resilient industrial future.
