On February 23, TÜBİTAK, in partnership with the MSCA RADIANCE project, convened an online international brokerage event dedicated to Marie Sklodowska Curie (MSCA) Staff Exchanges (SE) via B2match platform. Dr. Burcu Göğüş Doğan, accompanied by MSCA National Contact Points Tuğba Arslan Kantarcıoğlu and Şeyma Sayımlar, opened the floor with emphasizing importance of how MSCA SE connects globe and Türkiye’s recent success in the previous call for 2025. While, the presence of Nicoleta Petre from the Research Executive Agency in Brussels, demonstrating the wider EU commitment and support to the event, Jesus Rojo supported the agenda with an in-depth info session regarding the Staff Exchanges Call for 2026.

MSCA Staff Exchange is an infamously known as mobility program. It is natural fit for both TARAL’s and ERA’s blueprint for intellectual integration to globe. Successful projects bring down walls between disciplines and sectors, allowing a natural exchange of perspectives. A scientist in Türkiye might collaborate with a museum in Spain; an engineer might work alongside a social scientist. These exchanges enable participants to co-create solutions that no single field could solve alone. At the end of the day, MSCA SE stands for a long-lasting knowledge transfer and enduring know-how creation.

More than 250 stakeholders coming from different organizations at the event, Assoc. Prof. Zehra Taşkın from Hacettepe University walked participants through the lenses of a successfully accepted MSCA SE proposal with her journey, anecdotes of lesson learnt.
Last session of the event dedicated to pitching session. Moderated by a project expert, this session featured 15 future MSCA SE beneficiaries seeking partners, a testament to the global scope. Already, over 40 meetings have been arranged, with the b2match platform open until July 2026 for future consortium-building. MSCA Staff Exchanges call is about lasting bonds while knowledge production and skill development. This event is a step toward a world where cooperation and knowledge exchange are the engines of progress.
The event represents a platform whose impact extends beyond the day of the event itself, as it not only took place on 23 February 2026 but also provides long-term opportunities for online matchmaking and networking. An examination of the B2Match records indicates that a total of 484 participants registered on the platform. These registered participants represent 36 different countries and 5 continents. Among them, 254 participants are from Türkiye, while 230 participants registered from 35 different countries outside Türkiye. Looking at the continental distribution of the participants from outside Türkiye, Europe stands out with 179 participants, followed by South America (25), Africa (17), Asia (3), and North America (3). All these figures demonstrate that the event was not limited to participation during the live broadcast; rather, it created the foundation for a broad and dynamic digital collaboration network that brings together research and innovation actors from different geographies.
