The RTR 2027 conference will be held in Brussels at THE EGG from 23rd to 24th February 2027. Over two days, it will gather the European road transport research community to review the progress achieved, spread knowledge and identify future challenges moving forward. Ninety-three research projects, funded under the Horizon Europe programme, have been invited to present their results on key issues including decarbonisation, digitalisation, urban mobility, logistics and road safety, among other topics.
This edition of the RTR Conference is supported by CENTREe, a three-year Coordination and Support Action (CSA) launched in May 2026, and CEDR, the Conference of European Directors of Roads, which facilitates cooperation among national road authorities across Europe to improve road infrastructure and support sustainable transport systems.
