Blue Economy for Sustainable Black Sea Workshop" organized by the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership (SBEP) with the support of TÜBİTAK was successfully held in Sofia, Bulgaria.
This event, which is part of a series of regional workshops aimed at strengthening communication networks in marine basins, identifying needs, and shaping the future activities of the SBEP Partnership, gathered numerous participants from the blue economy sector, research communities, the private sector, the European Commission, and international organizations.
The workshop followed the EU Oceans and Waters Restoration Mission event on the Danube River and the HTS4BS event, organized by the METU Institute of Marine Sciences under the BRIDGE-BS Project, emphasizing the importance of regional cooperation.
The partnership focuses on supporting the just and inclusive transition from a largely unsustainable marine economy to a renewable and circular blue economy.
