The SME Instrument Impact Report 2018 was published by EASME (Executive Agency for SMEs) on 16th of May.

The report provides cumulative data on the profile structures and growth trends of companies financed from 2014 to 2017 under the program. According to this report, the SME Instrument, which has been in operation since early 2014, has provided € 3,100 million to 3200 SMEs for completing their innovation projects and for rapidly driving the market.  In 2017, the follow-up equity investments into companies funded by the SME Instrument doubled within one year only and each €1 invested by the SME Instrument generated €1.6 of private investment for the SMEs benefiting from the program.
