Join us for the Energy Communities Workshop on October 22, 2024, organized by SolarHub! 🌞 This engaging session will provide a comprehensive introduction to the concept of energy communities and explore their benefits for both members and non-members. We will discuss the key characteristics, EU directives, and national contexts that shape energy communities, along with the various technologies involved, such as wind, solar (PVs, agriPVs), hydro, biomass, and more.
The workshop will also focus on the roles of national and international actors, including solution providers, governmental and local authorities, NGOs, and regulators. Attendees will gain insights into the business models that make energy communities thrive, from energy sharing and self-consumption to electric mobility and energy storage. Additionally, we’ll cover available funding opportunities, social impacts, and showcase good practices from Europe, Greece, and Turkiye.
