The KIST school student internship program is a preliminary internship program for students willing to apply for the KIST School(UST) graduate programs (Master’s / Ph.D).
Only the students who are keeping their student status at their current universities are eligible to apply for this program, since the applicants who have graduated from the universities are not considered student researchers. (Students with fewer than three semesters remaining until graduation - As of October 13, 2025- are eligible for application.)
The succesful candidates will need to be present at the KIST premises during the whole internship. Therefore, it is recommended to freeze their school terms.

KIST covers only the accommodation and daily allowance of the candidates. Candidates are expected to cover their own international travel expenses.
