European Commission invites you through Implementation Dialogues to a unique opportunity to directly engage with Ekaterina Zaharieva, Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation and contribute to making Horizon Europe work smarter.

The event aims to collect direct feedback from stakeholders to make Horizon Europe smarter and more user-friendly. It will bring together programme beneficiaries, research support offices, university administrators, and umbrella organisations active in EU research and innovation policy. The session will provide a forum to assess the progress made so far, identify remaining challenges, and discuss planned steps toward further simplification of implementation practices. Participants will have a direct opportunity to contribute to shaping the final phase of Horizon Europe (2026–2027) and to informing the design of its successor framework programme.

Implementation Dialogues aim to boost European competitiveness by collecting direct feedback from stakeholders to simplify EU rules and improve policy implementation. This session will focus specifically on:

  • Proposal Submission

  • Proposal Evaluation

  • Simplified Cost Options

Participants will be able to ask questions, share feedback, and comment directly which is a key step in building a more transparent and responsive funding system.
