The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) is organising an online “TRANSCAN-3 JTC2021 International Networking Event" on 22 April 2021.

The event will focus on the forthcoming TRANSCAN-3 Joint Transnational Call (JTC2021) "Next generation cancer immunotherapy: targeting the tumour microenvironment"

Aim 1: Identification and validation of tumour microenvironment (TME) subclasses and their contribution to the resistance mechanisms
Aim 2: Targeting TME to improve efficacy of immunotherapy in human patients

28 funding organizations from 19 countries are participating in the call. The event will bring together up to 500 participants from Europe, Canada, Taiwan and Turkey, coming from research communities, private sector and hospitals. This will not only give you the unique opportunity to connect with a wide variety of stakeholders to discuss project ideas, but also get first-hand information about the TRANSCAN-3 Joint Transnational Call 2021.

In order to participate in the event, you need to register on the event website and book your face-to-face meeting appointments.

Participants can register up until 21 April.

Participants who want to have a pitch presentation can upload their presentations (using the template) until 15 April.

Participants can book their face to face meetings from 5 April to 21 April.

This international event, is an activity under Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase-II Project which is co-financed by The European Union and the Republic of Turkey in the framework of financial cooperation, TÜBİTAK as the End Recipient of Assistance and implemented by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors of Programme.
