The ALFAFUELS Project and the SUSTEPS Project — coordinated by TÜBİTAK MAM — are organising a joint webinar bringing together innovative solutions for sustainable transport fuels. The event will take place on 16 December 2025, from 12:00 to 13:00 (CET) and will address the latest developments in the decarbonisation of the aviation and transport sectors.
Although both projects work with similar feedstocks, they pursue different technological pathways and therefore offer complementary perspectives:
ALFAFUELS focuses on converting CO₂ into jet fuel through microalgae, contributing to Europe’s cleaner aviation ambitions.
SUSTEPS converts biocrude into biodiesel and biogasoline, providing scalable solutions for the wider transport sector.
The 45-minute webinar will present the projects’ technical findings, scalability assessments, and market outlook. The session will also include an open Q&A with stakeholders from the aviation and biofuel industries.
