9th Information Multipliers Training & Workshop event on “Latest developments in Horizon Europe and tools for effective proposal writing and project management”event was held on 9-10 October 2023 in İstanbul with hybrid module organized by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Türkiye and implemented by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.
Our event took place alongside 80 Information Multipliers selected from various institutions and organizations of Türkiye within the scope of the project. The event kicked off with the opening speech of TÜBİTAK Operation Coordination Unit member Ms. Dr. Burcu Göğüş Doğan. Following the welcome speech, the Project’s Team Leader Mr. Odysseas Spyroglou delivered a speech on the agenda and the scope of the event. The event’s first thematic presentation was made by Mr. Dr. Nikolaos Floratos titled “ Latest Developments in Horizon Europe. Afterward, Mr. Murat Tokucu, the representative from Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology delivered a speech on “What is Digital Europe?”.
The second day of the event started with the presentation of Mr. Dr. Nikolaos Floratos which coveredrecapitulation and sharing good practices among the participants. In addition to that, he made a presentation regarding the organization of the workshop suggested tasks based on Day 1 training. The event was concluded with hands-on practice exercises in groups.
