As per approved ZEWT SRIA update process, and following up on first open consultation (5 May to 9 June), the subsequent townhall meeting (20 June) and the solicitation of input on strategic orientations (June and August), the updated version of the ZEWT SRIA document is produced and can be found HERE.
The final Open Consultation on the ZEWT SRIA update is open now and which will be open for two weeks, until 24th November 2023. All input received by that date will be considered in the final version of the document.
We are now soliciting any further comments or additions you may have on the orientations.
Orientations present research priority statements and will provide the basis for the topics to be included in the next Work Programme of Horizon Europe. As such, including proper orientations that (a) reflect issues that the sector considers as critical for the achievement of its objectives, (b) are in line with the policy priorities and targets, and (c) are not addressed by past and ongoing research projects but they rather build upon them, is of utmost importance. You may find the currently proposed orientations at the end of each activity description (Sustainable Alternative Fuels, Electrification, Energy Efficiency, Design and Retrofit, Digital Green, and Ports) in the attachment HERE, under heading “Medium-term”.
To ensure the inclusion of the most appropriate topics in the 2025 as well as in the 2026-2027 Work Programme of Horizon Europe, we need the proper orientations to be included in the ZEWT SRIA document. To this end, WaterborbeTP is looking forward to receiving your input through this survey.
