ETIP Bioenergy and EERA Bioenergy will organize an information webinar on the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL5-2026-11-D3-04: “De-risking Renewable Fuel Technologies through Transnational Pre-Commercial Procurement of Renewable Fuel Industrial Value Chains.”
The online event will take place on 22 June 2026 and aims to provide participants with comprehensive information on the objectives, scope, and application requirements of the call, with contributions from representatives of the European Commission.
The webinar will be held from 10:30 to 12:00 (CEST) and will cover key elements of the call, which focuses on the establishment of multinational buyer groups and innovative industrial value chains to support the deployment of renewable fuels. Public buyers, contracting authorities, airports, ports, regional and local authorities, infrastructure operators, and other public entities are particularly encouraged to participate.
The opening remarks will be delivered by Anna Sager, Senior Project Manager at RISE, and Dina Bacovsky, Scientific Advisor at BEST. This will be followed by a presentation on the scope and expectations of the call by Maria Georgiadou, Senior Expert at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD).
The programme will also include a presentation by Lieve Bos, Policy Officer at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technology (DG CNECT), focusing on the legal aspects of Pre-Commercial Procurement (PCP) calls. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
