📣 The European Commission will hold an onlineInfo Day on 11 December 2025 to present the European Research Area (ERA) calls under the WIDERA Work Programme 2026-2027.
The event aims to provide detailed information about the calls under the Destination “Reforming and Enhancing the European Research and Innovation System”, highlighting upcoming funding opportunities and priorities for the new work programme period.
The ERA calls cover a wide range of policy areas, including research careers, research management, knowledge valorisation, research assessment reform, open science, gender equality and inclusiveness, coordination of R&I funding programmes, science for policy, and citizen engagement. They include both Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) and Research and Innovation Actions (RIA).
Speakers from the European Commission will present the new call topics and provide insights into participation opportunities for various types of organisations including universities, research performing organisations, research funding bodies, research infrastructures, academies and learned societies, civil society organisations, researchers’ associations, tech start-ups, incubators, science parks, innovation hubs, as well as regional, national, and city authorities.
