About Cooperation

Cooperation between Turkey and Austria continues within the scope of EU Programmes.

Apart from this, initiatives to sign cooperation agreements between the two countries in the fields of science, technology and innovation are underway. Within this scope, researchers from both countries are expected to cooperate in carrying out joint research projects supported through continuously and/or periodically open calls.

Turkey and Austria have collaborated in a total of 13 projects supported within the context of the EUREKA Programme between 2010-2018.

Furthermore, Turkey and Austria have collaborated in a total of 6 projects supported within the context of the Eurostars Programme since the programme’s inception.
