Cities of Future 2017: A very successful event!

Cities of the Future 2017 Brokerage event concluded with great success last week in Brussels. Close to 300 participants from all over Europe, presented their ideas and had the opportunity to discuss new proposals and collaboration.

The event brought together industry professionals, government officials and policy makers from Europe and Turkey. It was organized by the “Turkey In Horizon 2020” project and TUBITAK National Coordination Office for EU Framework Programmes.

During the event 4 concurrent thematic workshops were organised where participants had the opportunity to learn more about specific calls and present their ideas.

TÜBİTAK-French National Research Agency (ANR) Joint Project Proposal Call is Open!

TUBITAK-ANR Joint Project Proposal Call has been opened on 11th of October 2017 within the framework of the Cooperation Protocol signed between TUBITAK and French National Research Agency Ajansı (Agence Nationale de la Recherche-ANR) in 2014. The thematic fields that have been identified for the support of joint project proposals for the years 2018-2021 are found below:

• Marine Geosciences

• Seismic risks

• Sustainable development of Marine ecosystem

• Human Science and Humanities

• Energy

• ICT.

 

Notes:

The project proposals submitted in other thematic fields will not be evaluated.

The project proposals will be submitted via http://uidb-pbs.tubitak.gov.tr/ until 12th of March 2018.

8th Information Multipliers Workshop

This 8th Information Multiplier’s event was organised in Istanbul on the 14 and 15 of September 2017.

The objectives of the event are the following:

  • To train IMs on how to manage H2020 projects: monitoring, reporting, reaching the results, exploiting the results, managing the risks, managing the resources, resolving conflicts, etc.
  • To provide IMS with practical knowledge on project management: good practices.
  • To enable IMS to provide support to their customers on project management and how to correctly resolve management related issues on the proposal stage.
