European Research Council (ERC) was established in 2007 during FP7 to fund European frontier research. The only criterion for ERC funding is scientific excellence. ERC AdG Principal Investigators are expected to be active researchers and to have a track record of significant research achievements in the last 10 years which must be presented in the application. Advanced Grants may be awarded up to a maximum of 2.5 Million Euros for a period of 5 years. For more information please visit our AdG page.
