Applications will be accepted until 5 November 2025. The call aims to fund up to 49 projects, with each project eligible to receive between €10–14 million.
The Synergy Grant supports groups of two to four Principal Investigators who bring together complementary skills, knowledge, and resources to address ambitious scientific questions. Principal Investigators are expected to propose groundbreaking project ideas and demonstrate the feasibility of their implementation.
There is no requirement for Principal Investigators to be based in different countries or institutions. As long as they bring together distinct and complementary capabilities, they may apply from the same Host Institution. Moreover, one of the Principal Investigators may be based in a non-EU or non-Associated Country, such as the USA, Australia, or Japan.
TÜBİTAK’s Principal Investigator Development Programme for ERC (EBAG) continues to accept applications under this call. To be eligible for the EBAG programme, at least one of the Principal Investigators must be hosted by an institution based in Türkiye.
